Remembered this game exists after around 2 years of not playing, but coming back to the worst and most pointless retranslation the world has ever seen instantly erased all interested in replaying this.

I just read the patch notes of the update for the 7th anniversary, which came out yesterday and I'm really disappointed. There is a new Class for Wishing Night, which is cool and all, but the main part of this update seems to be Season 5 of the Online Mode. There just still isn't an online mode for the English version yet, and I'm not sure there will ever be one.

I really love this game. It feels like the people making it are putting in a lot of work and heart, but the English version feels just like a very small neglected side project. It's admirable that they even have an English version, even though they don't seem to speak a word of that language, but the AI translations they are using just aren't really doing it. It feels like the only thing they do for us is slap their text into the AI and put the result into the game and community posts, without having anyone to check them and never looking at it again. Why else would they post paragraphs of patch notes for a game mode we don't even have access to. This game has the most inactive English community I've seen in any game I played, which is not surprising, as the developers can't engage with us, and I doubt they are reading any of the comments on their steam posts. It just gives me the feeling they don't really know nor actually care how we feel about the game. They really need people who can speak english if they want a good english version of their game to exist.

In this state I actually lose a lot of my enthusiasm for the game :c

Thought I'd make a post just to document and alert anyone that hasn't played the main game in a while. The most recent update added new stuff, magician for the Diaries, and new cards in main game as well as new endings.

Now can get seeds instead of the journal and that opens 2 new endings (no new boss just different ending cutscenes)

The Werewolf can now play ch4 you just need to get the amnesia plant and forget it with the 2nd chapters amnesia store, this takes away an action and both ch2 and 3 lose their fairy blessings but now can enter chapter 4. It seems to blend the 2 new endings into a slightly different ending for itself.

Seems they took my complains from reports and this reddit (doubt they saw it but hey) and FINALLY fixed some of those translations I didn't like!

I also love how they changed all the cards a bit more to display damage as "DMG" but don't really enjoy the "Removed" instead of "Exiled" cause I have known "Removed" as either permanently gone from your inventory or just from the battle.

Removing free revivals INSANELY balanced out the game, now it's actually a challenge and not a "Die 3 times in the beginning, pick up blessings and GG"!

I'm so thankful that after a... 9 month or so wait they gave us free content rather than making us pay for Little Magician. (That is, if you owned the Collector's Edition, if not I think you're gonna need it)

My review went from 2 stars to 5 stars instantly, no more translation errors nor Facebook failing on me.

I think I'm definitely going to be talking here more frequently now, so if anyone needs some unofficial help feel free to hmu.

And seems there's some new secrets on Normal mode, that's all I'm going to say. ;)
