Benjamin Netanyahu may have a ‘close, personal friend’ in our current president – but he won’t when I am elected.

As president, the first thing I will do is end the supply of weapons and military aid to Israel, while it is in violation of international law, including its practice of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and the occupation of Gaza and the West Bank.

I will push the Senate to ratify the Rome Statute recognizing the legal authority of the International Criminal Court. And I will direct all U.S. federal agencies with the proper authority to recognize and execute any valid arrest warrant issued by the ICC over Israel’s war crimes.

I will not allow the foreign policy of the most powerful and influential nation on earth to be dictated by a despot clinging to the last threads of his power in a genocidal apartheid state.

Benjamin Netanyahu will face justice under a Jill Stein administration.

In solidarity,

Jill

The state of Israel currently controls an area of land comprising four distinct regions: the 1948 green line territory (what could be considered “Israel proper”), the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Golan Heights.

In total, about 14.8 million people live in this combined area, with a plurality (but NOT a majority) of them - 7.2 million - being Israeli Jews. That means that the rest, the majority, are non-Jewish - they include Gazans, West Bank inhabitants, and non-Jewish Israeli citizens (aka ‘48 Arabs).

Are Americans aware of this? It doesn’t get brought up very much, but to me this seems like a pretty significant fact. We’re sending billions of dollars a year to Israel so that a minority of the people who live there can have a special set of rights over the majority.

I did not know this prior to October 7th. I was pro-Palestinian prior to that anyway, but I mistakenly thought that Israel was, at least, oppressing a numerical minority rather than a majority.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has called on the European Union to collaborate with the United States in addressing the surge of Chinese green-tech exports, warning that the influx threatens global manufacturing sectors.

Last week, the US administration announced tariffs of 25 percent on steel and aluminum, 50 percent on semiconductors, 100 percent on electric vehicles, and 50 percent on solar panels.

Speaking in Germany this Tuesday, Yellen emphasized the need for a united response to China’s manufacturing dominance to protect industries worldwide, as initially reported by FT.

“China’s industrial policy may seem remote as we sit here in this room, but if we do not respond strategically and in a united way, the viability of businesses in both our countries and around the world could be at risk,” Yellen told FT at the Frankfurt School.

In a speech on Tuesday, Yellen defended the Biden administration’s tariff hikes including a 400 percent increase on China electric vehicles. “The tariff increases are strategic and targeted steps,” she stated. This follows the White House’s tariff adjustments aimed at safeguarding U.S. industry, especially in key electoral states.

In a post on the social media platform X, Joe Biden said that “China is determined to dominate these industries” while enhancing that he is “determined to ensure America leads the world in them”.
