Holy shit. This is supposed to be a bell curve, and it looks like this. Grim.

Sorry buddy. I think you'll find, "But the giant baby had already eaten everyone" to be a much scarier set of eight words. smuglord

Gammonism is an ideologically-acquired state caused by the internalisation of white supremacy.

Someone please lemme know if this is good when it actually drops. Tired of disappointing mangoes.

We sure love us a boiled ham devoid of anything even approaching an actual personality wrapped in a poorly fitting suit, don't we? Literally all of us, right?

I mean, that is an accurate description of literally all white British men, so... Yes. That's an accurate statement for heterosexual, 45 year old, white British women.

Why was the game gear too big, but the steam deck isn't?

Well you see, as you grow older and become an adult, your eyes get worse but your hands and pockets become larger (usually trans-uno )

But actually though, I think people would've complained less about the game gear or the Lynx if the size of the screens was much larger than they were, in comparison to the size of the unit. Screen-to-Body ratio is more critical than you think for handhelds, and people are more willing to put up with a large device if the screen is appropriately larger. If the screen on a steam deck or Switch was only 4 inches diagonally, people would be bitching a lot more.

The Wii U gamepad, you've got me there. Idk, I think people just weren't ready for it yet, and it was literally just a controller that you couldn't even use while charging or as the main display at launch. The form factor of the gamepad was thinking so far ahead of where the software or hardware was that it probably shouldn't be surprising that freeze-gamers didn't get it.

Also, this week was the first time I've charged my 3ds in over a year and I still play a ton of New Leaf, idk what you're on about with a 3 hour battery life.

Due to the devastating effects of inflation a fake $100% story now has to be a $40,000% story.

I feel like the only person ever that this has actually worked out for, but I only even was in a position to need it because of another boneheaded Microsoft decision. My computer updated itself overnight and did a fresh install of windows 11 without my permission and in doing so, wiped my C drive totally clean. I would have lost all of my user data, but OneDrive had backed up my user folder correctly (somehow) and when I logged into my Microsoft account, it downloaded everything and it gave me back everything including game saves. All I lost was my downloads folder and the recycle bin, all of which was just trash anyway.

I guess I can't complain too much, but if literally anything had gone wrong, I would have basically just lost all of the data I'd accumulated over the course of about 20 years.

My baked ass was over here like, "Oh, just the ones who persecute conservatives online? So we're good then?"

They gave him like a 1.5l soda bottle and he just filled it up.

How many times did this dude have to donate sperm to do this? Like, how efficient is this process? Did he have to make hundreds of deposits at the sperm bank?

Consider the RSI-prone gamer. I would like to have healthy hands and wrists in older age and still use the computer.

Looking for a matching set (brand/aesthetic wise) of a mechanical keyboard and mouse for gaming that:

  • Isn't super tacky or coated in branding

  • Has a detachable usb c cable (sick of mini-usb and I will never be okay with a fixed cable on a keyboard)

  • Has build quality that's actually halfway decent

  • Isn't ludicrously expensive

  • Is compatible with something like Artemis RGB or Aurora RGB for aRGB game integration (my little crow brain likes when the blinky gamer lights change colors when I reload and stuff in games)

I don't know if I'm just bad at researching this sort of thing but it really seems like all the options out there only meet one or two of these requirements at best. Is this just the state of the market when it comes to these things? Do I need to build a custom keyboard?

They're not even doing refunds or recalls, they're just giving people 2 free months of the subscription and telling them to only charge the device and the hotswap add-on batteries with the home charger.

This piece of shit has a 4 hour standby time if you're not using the case to recharge the batteries. Literally unusable.

Seriously, I've spent like an hour searching and there appear to be absolutely no used cars in the US or Canada priced at or under $500. In fact, they're not even really close. I can only find a handful of cars under $1000, and they all seem to be parts cars that have major issues that are insurmountable for all but experienced mechanics who happen to have a spare engine laying around.

Am I just searching in the wrong places or what? Where have all the cheap-ass cars gone in this car-mandatory society?
