Good to see I say, Wales' cash can then go to paying the youngsters it badly needs

More Champions and Challenge cup action this weekend, with all the rugby you can watch. And local rugby on too. So, what are we watching, what are we predicting, and what are we happy to hear about this weekend?

Pau vs Northampton was great to watch yesterday whilst peeling tatties

The Champions and Challenge Cup both kick off tonight, with so much cross country rugby, it's going to be a hoot!

The Champions Cup has 4 pools this year, the Challenge 3. And it is a weird pool stage, then round of 16 knock out for Champions cup, with 5th placed teams going to the Challenge cup, 6th being eliminated. And the Challenge Cup a similar format, but with 1 pool being added essentially. Anyway!

Let the rugby begin, my picks of the weekend to watch are Sale vs Glasgow tonight, Bath v Munster tomorrow, and Gloucester vs Castres Sunday.

As always: predictions, reactions and shitposts appreciated, and enjoy your rugby!

There is simply no excuse for his thumb in the eye. He deserves a very lengthy ban.

Wales vs SA at 1510 UTC today, and loads of URC and some English Prem this weekend too. Hard to see Wales getting much out of this match, so what are we all looking forward to instead?

As always, predictions and reactions more than appreciated, have a great rugby weekend!

A good read here about the recent nationals. But a bit English focussed

Good morning lemmy rugby fans! What a tasty weekend of rugby we have in store. Including the All Blacks vs England. England on 9 in a row, the ABs aiming for a grand slam tour. This one has classic written all over it!

We also have the interesting Wales vs Japan match, both struggling for form but hoping a new coach bounce makes a difference from the repeat fixture in the summer. And Scotland vs Argentina tomorrow which is crucial for world ranking positions, with both teams wanting that top pot position for the world cup.

As always, predictions, reactions, and shitposts all appreciated, and have a great weekend wherever you are :)

“My hope for meaningful change to the governance of Welsh rugby has all but disappeared. My faith in the current leadership of the WRU has disintegrated. It’s quite clear now that the leadership of the WRU is not going to do anything radical (even if they use this word) or change the future structure to anything other than a smaller-scale version of what we already have.”

I’m not sure I agree with everything in this, but there is a niggling voice in the back of my head that the WRU isn’t going far enough and fast enough to truly improve the future of the game in Wales.

Hello rugby fans. Great weekend for it today, with plenty of rugby to delight us

My pick of the day. Scotland vs NZ as I'm going! But France vs SA a pretty tasty affair too

As always, predictions, reactions and shitposts all wanted, have a great Saturday!

Big match for the Scots this weekend. Can't wait for team lists!

Correct as of 4th of November 2025. Quite a spread! 1-5 and 6-9 showing a fairly clear grouping at this stage

  • England vs Australia
  • SA vs Japan (in London)

All on the Saturday. So strap in and enjoy. As always, predictions, reactions and shitposts encouraged

Not long til we are doing international match threads again!

Cause Wales and France don't exist. Oh Eddie

22

Well, Wales looking already 50% better

This was a write off I thought. Munster having won just 1 from their last 10 meetings. What a result!

Division 4 game was first. The Boulder Marauders (the team I play on) lost to Queen City 63-13 but we’re keeping our heads high as we played pretty well for a team that was established this week. Our 8 man got a hell of a bump above his eye, zoom in for a good look

Division 3 game came after, Boulder RFC lost a heartbreaker to the Colorado Springs Grizzlies 15-13

Fun was had by all and that’s all that matters in the end. And getting plastered afterwards of course

My first visit to Highland RFC and not my last I'm sure. A cracking match so far, 10-24 HT vs Peebles, and facilities are braw. Black Isle Blonde also helps
