So my big download is stuck at 0b/s at 48% for a little over 12 hours now, it hasn't moved a bit.

What do I do? Is it possible to transfer my download along with my progress so far to another torrent app like qbittorrent??

I'm new to seeding and torrents. I use a vpn that's tied up to my browser but my qb torrent is installed on my pc. since it's like that, wouldn't the browser vpn not affect the application as it has to have the browser to work? I'm very new to this stuff so sorry if it's confusing

  1. Put the device in router mode, not bridge
  2. You will now see "Firewall" and "DMZ" options
  3. Setup the DMZ: Insert the IP of your router, which you use to connect with. If you use MC889 directly connected to the PC, insert it's IP address. You will see the IP address on the left bubble on the home page of the 5G ODU configuration page.
  4. Apply, wait, and enjoy torrenting

I've configured my laptop to always seed when it's charging. I've seeded more than 1TB at this point, maybe even 2TB.

Is there a way I can see more information about my seedings? Like which country has downloaded the most from me, peak seeding times, the sum of my total seeding so far, etc.

I run Transmission on my Debian NAS for torrenting and just tested my internet speed on that computer with speedtest-cli to see 418 MBit/s down and 364 MBit/s up. I have torrents limited to 1.5 MB/s up and 3 MB/s down.

When I connect to a new torrent, and it's still in the metadata collecting phase, my internet will become unusable on my desktop computer and phone, often for minutes at a time. When it comes to downloading and seeding the actual files, things seem fine.

Does anyone know how I can prevent this issue? Is it related to finding peers? I have it limited to 50 peers per torrent and 125 peers overall. I also will usually have no more than 1-2 torrents downloading at once and maybe 4-6 available for seeding. I have AT&T fiber internet, so if it's a router hardware limitation, is there anything I can do e.g. requesting/buying a better router?

I'm just wandering if there is a way to stop myself from accidentally deleting a torrent. It's just I have done it a few times with torrents with high seed ratio and ones I have had for a long time. Would be nice to have a prompt show up asking me if I am sure I want to delete it or something. Unless there is already a feature like that that I am missing.

This might come off as a stupid question, but is there any way to preview a torrent (like a movie) before downloading it? So that you can check whether if it is the correct one or not? To ensure it is the genuine content and not some fake or cut video or smth, or maybe malware?

So I just wanna know is there a way I can setup my old laptop as a remote access “streaming” site for torrented content I want this because I want higher res movies without paying for any subscription that some sites do have. I want to be able to watch the movies from my phone anywhere I am and still get the free high res quality. I also wanna know if it is easier to make my laptop boot Ubuntu or somthing similar to make it more server like, so it doesn’t drain a lot of power and stuff

The Xirvik .torrent to seedbox uploader Chrome extension is gone, and I really miss its quick, direct upload feature for .torrent files to my seedbox.

Any recommendations for similar Chrome extensions or efficient workflows to achieve this?

Thanks!

i hope you understand what i mean by video(m o v i e aka motion picture, not every fILm is available everyplace).

i watch now on 1080p lenevo 27 budget screen/ monitor. if i buy a new monitor dell 4k 27 or 32, will it look as good if not better, or it will look worse?

because some m ovies are only available in 1080p or 1080p is more better version.

Two PC torrent clients sucks at downloading the speech to text, while my phone using 1dm have no problem

As you can see, there are 3 torrent clients. My PC uses Qbittorrent and Transmission, while my phone uses 1dm as the client. Both PC clients don't have a connection as good as the phone.

Qbit stuck at retrieving metadata (not showing up), so I forced it to start/renounce, and it got to that point in the image.

The transmission has an unregistered torrent error. The download won't even start.

My phone? It doesn't have any problem. Just paste the magnet link, and it just works, even resuming a previous torrent download.

Both the PC and the phone are connected to the same router. Uses the same magnet link, too. PC uses a LAN cable, while the phone uses the usual wireless wifi. If asking for a better connection, then the PC should have it better since it uses direct LAN, right? But in this case, it doesn't.

ISP have 20 Mbps 1:1 speed, but I read it has CGNAT, so I can't do port forwarding here. But the problem still persists; the better connection is on the phone side.

Any help? Thx!

I was torrenting a program and the crack files didn’t fully download. There were supposed to be two, but only one downloaded to my pc. Any ideas on how to fix this? I need both to use the program

Hey folks

I am a huge fan of airdates.tv and how easy it is to use.... But looking for some alternatives that may have more up to date info. For example, it's always sunny doesn't show on airdates anymore, etc.

I've looked into setting up the *arr apps to run things and really not interested in that route.

What are you all using to keep track now?

Has anyone noticed that TVTeam has started injecting URLs into the folder names of their releases on TPB which are then aggregated by other sites. Just curious if this is a problem as far as ingesting those releases in to Plex, *arr, etc.

Specifically, I am talking about the torrent websites limetorrents.proxyninja.net, limetorrents.lol and bt4gprx.com.

There is a file I want to download from a folder which is around 1.5GB in size, way too much to download (and halfway through, it asks me to buy a subscription to buy more space - even though I just want to download a single file from it).

Is there any way to do it?

As the title suggests, I'm in a dilemma.

I have an LG tv that is incapable of playing dolby vision within mkv files which also limits my audio to dolby atmos with Joc and not truehd. LG Plex only plays dolby vision on mp4 files with lower bitrates but its dolby vision intact.

which of these should I prioritize when torrenting? higher bitrate remixes with truehd and HDR or dolby vision in mp4 files with lower bitrate and atmos

thank you!
