Just opened this roll to find the tube was mostly missing. Half an inch of cardboard then raw paper

The cardboard tube only goes partially through the hole so the majority of the toilet paper is wrapped around nothing

Because that’s the natural color of cardboard?

Ah gotcha. I was thinking about the wrong dimension
