"You mean they've been segregated into racial enclaves where they've been artificially impoverished for a few generations now, so the criminals have more access to other black people than any white people?"

LiberalGunNut™ here! Reminds me of gun nuts defending the stats. Yes, a little less than half are suicides, like those don't matter. The rest of the killings are largely gang violence, like those don't matter.

The suicide thing really bothers me. "They would have committed suicide anyway" is what I have heard, which is incredibly callous and impossible to know. Certainly having something that can kill you instantly without any sort of preparation makes it a hell of a lot easier to act on suicidal impulses.

(I am indifferent about guns overall.)
