If this guy strung wire over the path after the first incident (innocent until proven guilty etc), it's completely indefensible. I can almost but not really forgive the first time as a prank that got out of hand with no intent to really hurt people, because he's a thoughtless idiot. But if he did it after knowing it nearly killed a bunch of people earlier this week, then we're into attempted murder territory.
