"We know he said he was imposing tariffs but we didn't think he was actually going to do it" is a line I've been reading in so many finance journals and hearing on briefings over the last month.

I love how he thinks this stuff just happens by magical command and then we have nothing in place to do it so he suspends it for a month and china does it right away.
