Does any of you know a good alternative to LinkedIn which is available all over Europe ?

In the past there was a French Alternative called Viadeo but it seems they were bought by another company and now the website is full of adds.

What functionality of linkedin in particular? The job searching? Or the CV?

More like the professional social network. Be in touch with colleagues and ex colleagues so I think it goes with the CV part. I'm not very interested by the job searching

The problem of a social network - as seen with Mastodon etc - will be that if it exists, your colleagues and ex colleagues are probably are not on it yet.

Xing is probably your best bet as it is majorly owned by a German company

You are right, but to build a community we need early adopters.
