I think it would be great if we can find a common motto for BuyFromEU like the "Elbows up" of Canadian.

I propose something in Latin because English is the official language of only two countries of EU (Ireland and Malta), but the majority of European languages are fully or partially derivate from Latin.

In addition this will show strong opposition to US language.

My personal proposition is : "Et vales, valeo" (When you are strong, I'm strong)

Please propose your motto and let's make the most upvote comment become the motto of our movement

Nestlé and Unilever are not American. Nestlé is Swiss and Unilever is British/Dutch.

This does not mean that they are good brand and you can certainly find many reasons to boycott them but not because they are American

You should try to make counteroffer to trump and advertise American citizenship starting from 2M

You are right, but to build a community we need early adopters.

More like the professional social network. Be in touch with colleagues and ex colleagues so I think it goes with the CV part. I'm not very interested by the job searching

Thank you, Xing seems to be very German oriented but I will give a try

Does any of you know a good alternative to LinkedIn which is available all over Europe ?

In the past there was a French Alternative called Viadeo but it seems they were bought by another company and now the website is full of adds.
