Panel 1: A man stands beside a birthday cake, smiling and saying, “Thanks for coming to my birthday party!” Panel 2: He looks sheepish and adds, “I was beginning to worry nobody would show up…” Panel 3: His point of view shows the cake in the foreground and a cheerful group of “guests” smiling behind it. Panel 4: Same view, but one of the smiling faces begins to float upward—it's a balloon. Panel 5: The man panics and runs after the escaping balloon as it's revealed that all his “guests” are just balloons with drawn-on faces.

Hopefully there is a little bit of water in those balloons, being near fire and all
