I was looking for weather broadcast on 8.3kHz but found my neighbors washingmachine instead (infosec.pub)

Antenna was about 20m of random wire coil on a sound card, recorded with Friture.

Yeah could be, that would make sense. I confess, I haven't opened many of them up.

With the frequency jumps I'd say you're right
