I am visiting denmark in summer and wanted to learn some danish. I looked at duolingo, then at their privacy policy, then i threw the idea away. Babbel is better in terms of privacy but still not great. I havenβ€˜t found an alternative product yet.

Yeah I read about that as well. Issue is i currently have an iOS device where Anki costs 25 CHF and i'm not willing to pay that much considering I will switch to Android on my next phone.
