On a previous attack

One attacker, Ivan Kuznetsov, died from stab wounds. Ukrainian prosecutors claimed Sternenko pursued and accused him of intentional murder. Sternenko maintained it was self-defense. In December 2023, an Odesa court closed the case against the volunteer.

Wtf, you're in a war. He's a high profile target and you decide to follow the letter of the law? You gotta take circumstance into account. They're helping the war effort!

well, the one who ordered Sternenko's murder then is the mayor of Odessa (and he still is). so the prosecution by the court of Odessa is obvious.
