That's

  • 2 positive cards from the Greens, plus 2 positive pamphlets
  • 1 letter from the Greens, masquerading as a letter from a local concerned citizen with a mix of positive and negative
  • 2 positive cards from the LNP
  • 4 negative cards from the LNP, 3 targeting Labor, 1 targeting Labor and the Greens, plus 1 negative pamphlet targeting the Greens
  • 1 positive card from Labor, plus 1 positive pamphlet
  • 2 identical negative cards from LNP-aligned campaign group Advance Australia, targeting the Greens

The 'handwritten personal letter' really pissed me off. So obviously fake.

The negative card I got was very well done. Done in a nice green colour, attacking Labor. It was only if you looked for it that you could see the teeny tiny "Authorised by....Liberal Party"

I knew the Liberals were worried when they had a truck with billboard sign driving around, and then I got doorknocked by a house to house volunteer. Have never seen either before in this electorate.

Where i voted there would have easily been 6 metres of liberal posters for every 0.5 metres of Labor. So much blue. Advance Australia is such a joke, liberals spent so much time complaining about GetUp having political influence, but when their patsies did exactly the same, it's all ๐Ÿ‘ The best vote nowadays is the person who will stall, as doing nothing is often better than most of their stupid vote buying policies. I'm almost convinced that if we left everything as is, but got rid of politicians and elections, we could pay off the national debt in a few weeks.
