It is your father’s Republican Party. They’ve ~~always~~ (since before your dad was born) been about power for the in crowd (and nothing else). They’ve just gotten farther than ever with their goal.

Here fucking here, I'm tired of this revisionist history that only now are the Republicans Nazis. I've been hearing all the same propaganda from my dumbass father for my entire life, and I'm 34 now. Every racist I've met in those 34 years has been conservative, every person I've encountered that owns swastika/confederate memorabilia has been a conservative, they have always been proud to be the ones who wish death on everyone who isn't Christian, and they are the people who have been against everything even remotely off course of completely heterosexual (gays existing to gays marrying to now trans people existing). They are every form of bigoted, hateful and ignorant and it's not even REMOTELY new.
