The only recurring dream I have anymore is an ever growing collection of dogs that are in various stages of neglect, some of which are family pets that have since passed away.
I fucking hate it, there's never any food to feed them no matter how hard I look and there's almost always a fight or an escapee that I have to deal with only to be done with that and be missing (or gaining) even more dogs.
I'm always in a panic when I wake up.
I'd like to say that I have never neglected a dog, and only have one which I love very much, strangly, she is usually not present in the dog horde.
Ohhhh I have this one too! Sometimes it's not dogs or cats, it's beetles because I raise those. Such a stressful dream-type. :(
What kind of beetles?
BDFBs, blue death feigning, asbolus verrucosus
Those look neat, I didn’t know baby blue beetles existed! (I’m not super surprised by that since they also come in gold, and there are more beetle varieties than anything else, but still)
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for asking! I love them very much, they make incredible pets. :)
That sounds horrid. I'm sorry that's your stress dream. My fast-food-worker-can't-keep-up-with-the-rush recurring seems like a dream by comparison.
Dang am I supposed to be dreaming?
My cat recently passed away, and I get these dreams all the time. It's always like I'm going about my normal day, and then suddenly he's there, and my dream self knows he's gone but I start freaking out. He's usually in bad shape in the dream and I start feeling really guilty, then I wake up.
Mine died almost 3 years ago and I still get those. I like seeing him again but it always goes bad at the end.
