A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

This is absolutely true ..... civilization didn't peak until Rick Astley was born and performed for the first time.

And consequently, society seems to be declining as Astley is growing old and nearing death.

This period should be known as the Astleypocene rather than the Anthropocene
