Not holes - shrapnel, as they're all the character from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The bottom right one is that same character, but in an earlier game, before the shrapnel injury (and before he had his own country), when he had an ambiguous relationship with a 20-something year old who claimed to be 16.

The character's name is Big Boss (or Punished Snake, as in the authleft version).
