You are correct. I like how those most-relevant facts — considering christian fascist dictatorship — are buried towards the end of the article; that makes this an anomaly, and a case of incompetence in a sea of calculated racism.

I did. I just stopped at the go fund me sentence. I only bothered reading the article as they look like evangelicals in every photo.

She said she homeschools their children and that they raise animals on a ranch. His Facebook page suggests he also has an affinity for hunting and Mississippi State University football, and opposed vaccine mandates in 2021.

So... What's the bet this guy is freed rapidly, now that the evangelical MAGAzi's have made headlines?

So, you didn't read the article. Reading the article, "I did", suggests you read it from beginning to end.

If you stopped at the link for gofundme, you didn't get to the end.
