Since when is Imodium embarrassing? Everybody gets diarrhea at some point.

Imodium is essentially an opiate if taken in large doses, although its awful for your heart. Addicts tend to use it when they can't find opiates, although its not very widely known. The imodium company knows however, and thats why they only sell in blister packs now which are hard to collect enough pills from.

Anyways, thats why some places check ID for imodium, and why some people might be embarrassed other than just have the squirts.
