@archeokluit@mastodon.chasalin.nl That's such a wonderful find, don't you think Janneke? There used to be more matrinlineal societies, for it was easier to indicate which mother you were born from, than which father had contributed his semen.
The woman on the left, in the blue and gold jacket, resembles my mother when she was young. She was not from Chinese descent, but had fully Indonesian ancestry.
