Is there any evidence of men actually pretending to be trans women so as to harass women the toilets? Or of trans woman harassing other women in the toilets? Or is this all a dream in the feverish imagination of the TERFs, who then proceed to harass trans women and cis women alike for not looking how they think a woman should look?

There are cases.

Trans people are people and can be abusive or assault others just like everybody else. Trans folk have to deal with more mental health issues than the average person. I’m just guessing, but it might make them more likely to be victims of violence or to abuse others.

These are just a few from the first page of DDG results.

Of course this is only anecdotal.

Bathroom restrictions don’t protect against abusers of any gender. People should feel safe using a bathroom regardless of their gender or sexuality.

Yeah I think that's a good point...harassing or assaulting women in the bathroom (or anywhere) is already illegal.

Yes, the argument about no trans people in bathrooms is about the others feeling safe.
