It's never gets old for me to see things abouts shows I've never once heard of going on for like 20 seasons
Weird, I guess you don’t follow TV news. This show is well received, based on a set of well regarded books, and was one of Apple TV’s first big hits.
Part of why it’s already going on season 7 is because of their production style. It’s one of the few shows that sometimes shoots two seasons at a time. It’s probally possible largely due to the source material.
I follow the news, but I only became aware of this show after I got Apple TV for free with a new phone.
This show was never a massive hit like GOT. It's been building slowly.
It's a general problem.
Back in the day, most stores and restaurants played the local Top 40 station. You'd hear Stevie Wonder, then Dolly Parton, and then Bob Dylan. These days, ever store seems to be playing the same 1980's oldies station.
When there were four networks and a few cable channels, you could be aware of all the shows. Now if you don't have Prime/Netflix/Apple you have no idea what's out there.
TBF, they only have 4 seasons right now.
Also, it got progressively worse, IMO. I only finished season 4 because I thought it was the end of the series. I have no interest in watching more.
Season 1 and 2 are definitely worth watching though.
