Anime characters who are the object of worship in the church of belly!

  1. Posts must feature "midriff moe". That is, anime characters with visible midriff. That's all.
  2. No nudity. Lewd art is fine, but mark it NSFW.
  3. If posting a more suggestive piece, or one with simply a lot of skin, consider still marking it NSFW.
  4. Include a link to the artist in post body, if you can.
  5. AI Generated content is not allowed.
  6. Positivity only. No shitting on the art, the artists, or the fans of the art/artist.
  7. Finally, all rules of the parent instance still apply, of course.

SauceNao can be used to effectively reverse search the creator of a piece, if you do not know it.

You may also leave the post body blank or mention @saucechan@ani.social, in which case the bot will attempt to find and provide the source in a comment.

it looks like this artist doesn't want their art used, i would assume that means posting on other platforms too?

This person does comissions.

While it's possible they don't want reposts of any kind, I imagine people sharing their work with a link straight back to them is exactly what they want. As that is how they get eyeballs on their talent, and potentially work.

Pixiv, deviant, and other platforms have lots of users who pass the work of others as their own, or post a bunch of art entirely uncredited to amass followers. These people don't want users finding the original artists, because they want users coming to them for more, not the arists.

This is not how I want art on the fediverse to work. Every post should immediately and conveniently allow someone to look up and support the original creator.

If and when an artist comes to me and wants their content removed from the moe communities, it will be done. That is another reason why I require everything be credited. It will allow me to find every post featuring the art of a particular artist.
