Plot twist: thats actually the grandpa from the future, hes here to one tap his former self into near oblivion to awaken his true power.

Once he recovers he will set out on a epic journey defeating all the top grandpas in his region, then country, world, and finally the universe. The pursuit for perfection strays his attention from his familial duties. He falls into a deep depression when confronted by his family, and lashes out. He destroys every grandpa in his timeline.

Lost in an endless Grandpa-less void he struggles to find purpose and decides to end his meaninglessness by flying into a nearby blackhole. Hes too powerful now he cannot be destroyed. Entering the black hole his conciousness is able to travel to all possible realities simultaniously. He encounters infinite versions of himself all with the same goal in mind to destroy themselves but only one can see the truth. The one watches as every other version of himself warps back into back to the point in which this all began. He sees every version of himself raise his fist. Without thinking, he reaches with one arm into every reality simultaniously and pulls himselves back into the grandpa-verse, barely avoiding his own annihilation.

The oposing forces split into infinite versions of themselves in an epic battle that destroys all realities, life, and matter in existance, except the grandpa-verse and a single grandpa who sacrifices himself to reset the timeline and prevent the cycle from ever begining.
