What's the most humane way to put them down? I feel bad, it's not their faults after all.
Smashing is pretty humane, since you're taking out their whole distributed nervous system simultaneously. With roaches I tend to smash with my foot and then smear them. The shearing action helps break apart nerve endings that might still be working if they were just compressed
