Welcome to /c/fakehistoryporn@lemmy.world , where fake history is made. Find a historically significant photo, come up with a fake history title, post it, laugh.

The name is a reference to the fact that the pictures should be worth marveling at. This is NOT a place for hardcore pornography. Tasteful nudity is fine as long as it fits within the context of the post (please mark it as NSFW).

What is that thing anyway? Some sort of “politicians’ makeup” melting? I’ve seen quite a few politicians with the same thing.

Looks like it's coming from hair. So probably some cheap hair dye. You'd this crook could afford some half decent hair dye that doesn't run like that. I mean even look at Trumps fake tan, you can see the edges on it sometimes.

The most believable explanation I heard is that it was a last minute touch up on his hair for the speech, not actual hair dye

That being said I'll still never understand why dudes this old insist on dying their hair and pretending it's natural. Just let it go gray, ageing naturally is nothing to be ashamed of

On the one hand, I fully agree and think it's pretty silly to dye it and pretend it's natural. But at the same time, as a dude who finally had to give in to his bald spot and start shaving... I kinda get it. Pride and shame are strange masters.

It's spray on hair color for bald spots
