...because of comic book logic on cloning? Or is there some genetic factor underlying a person's sexuality? I'm guessing the former, but if the latter is true, it's the first I've heard of it, so I'm curious!

Let me start with a clear statement - homosexuality is clearly NOT a choice! I can see how you got that from what I said though, so I apologize for phrasing my comment poorly!

I always figured it was biologically driven without much in the way of genetic components. It seems like homosexuality would be pretty tricky to pass on if it was just linked to a few genes, yet from people's experiences and examples in nature it's pretty clearly biological. I'm curious about the mechanism in general, and from your phrasing, thought you might know something I hadn't picked up yet.
