Chronicle the life and tale of the fediverse (+ matrix)

Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.

Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc

(New) This sub's intentions is to an archive/newspaper, as in preferably don't get into fights with each other or the ppl featured in the drama

Its a shame because they're prominent voice on lemmy. Good on the admins for not tolerating this. I don't understand the point of targeting a person you don't like on the internet just because they said something that upset you and spamming their post with downvotes. If you don't like someone block their ass and be done with it. I agree with the perspective that its harassment (and an incredibly petty ineffective form of it at that)

As I pointed out, the claims of harassment are untrue (unless downvoting comments one genuinely disagrees with is harassment), and the commenter in question has a long history of obsessing about me, in a negative way.

Seven months of obsessing about me, and that was just gleaned from a quick search of my name from their account.

I stated a fact. I don't get into the drama and I don't care about the details . There is way too much drama dragging us down from being supportive human beings and that shouldnt be happening. I'm not even looking at your images - just saying more or less we should get over it and agree to disagree. You may be right .. .you may be crazy, I have no beef with anyone. Take a step back ... maybe reach out and apologize and understand your adversary and see what happens. I too have been affected by making a comment on reddit and having someone downvote my every past comment. This behavior is bad though. I ( until I quit reddit ) used to help in a lot of the electrical and tech subs and there's no reason to downvote something I said to help a guy fixing his washing machine 5 months ago that deserves a downvote because you don't like my recent opinion on something unrelated. Lets all be adults and cool to our fellow humans.

this is the internet - it's a social media site... I'm sorry it's that serious for you but I'd say "fuck you mate and I disagree" and move on. Your real life is not being affected.
