Other way around - 4/7 Founding Fathers were abolitionists, 2/7 were theoretical abolitionists but did not free their slaves before they died (Washington was making plans in the hopes of freeing his dower slaves as well, but ultimately died before this came to fruition and could only free the slaves he himself directly owned in his will; Jefferson was not making plans and was busy going deep into debt for his own luxuries), 1/7 was an unrepentant slaver.

The general proportion of the officers and politicians of the Patriots were similar, as much of the South was loyalist or neutral (Virginia exempted), while much of the North was pro-Patriot.
