Since when has one needed to take a game offline to work on it? This is some PR excuse. I am willing to bet real money that this game will never see the light of day again.
Not that I care about the game, but I do care about bullshit.
They're not taking Splitgate 2 offline, they're calling it beta again.
They're taking Splitgate 1 offline, apparently because it's costing them money (but possibly to drive people playing that towards Splitgate 2).
