The only thing I can't make out is what kind of era it takes place in.
Aang was set in Feudal Japan, Korra was in the industrial revolution.
I'd love for them to go back to feudal times, but I know that wouldn't make sense.
It's post-apocalyptic, from some kind of spiritual disaster.
What doesn't make sense is wouldn't Kora be the spiritual disaster?
Allegedly she died trying to fight it, but the details are scarce.
Post apocalypse from what I've heard.
