Reminder that his reaction to 9/11 was to brag that it made one of his buildings the tallest in the neighborhood. And disgusting as that was, the brag wasn't even true, there were still several taller buildings nearby

You're probably just making a joke, but that's not the etymology of "cretin".

Cretin became a medical term for Congenital iodine deficiency syndrome in the 18th century, from an Occitan and an Alpine French expression, prevalent in a region where persons with such a condition were especially common.
