Hi comrades. I posted a link to a Michael Parenti lecture on kolektiva.social yesterday and got banned as a 'tankie'. So I'm looking for a mastadon instance that isnt full of libs and questions the official narrative on all these wars. I found two left leaning instances but they are invite only apparently. Anyone got a recommendation?

toots.matapacos.dog is Hexbear affiliated (not official though) and unfederated with kolektiva.social out of security concerns. Looking at the people I follow who are mostly communists, the following instances may be fine:

tenforward.social
jorts.horse
mas.to very big instance that Yogthos is on

matapacos defederated from kolektiva for what security concerns? i too am a kolektiva user hiding my power level and looking to migrate, but i dont want to lose the comrades ive met on kolektiva :(

The FBI obtained an unencrypted copy of their database, and then the Kolektiva admins took over a month to tell people about it. Matapacos did a poll on whether to defederate and it was a 11-4 decision to do so. Here is the full thread on the matter. https://toots.matapacos.dog/@porkroll/110647135565812578

You will probably want to find a go-between instance that federates both with Kolektiva and matapacos then.

those links don't work. also i noticed i follow @prolewiki@matapacos.dog perfectly fine, though a lot of the acct's follows/followers dont show up from kolektiva. are you sure it's still defederated?

Oh shoot you probably need an account to view it then? IDK why you can follow prolewiki. Maybe I am misunderstanding something about suspension.
