It looks like beehaw is not joinable anymore. I hope other communities' mods approve, tho.
What they said is incorrect, it means that the instance hosting the community hasnโt confirmed the subscription request. This confirmation seems to get lost sometimes if the instance is under heavy load.
Unless they're running a custom version of lemmy that I'm unaware of, there's no such thing as manually approving a subscription request.
Of course itโll also mean that subscription requests to defederated instances will stay in a pending state. As the other instance will just ignore the request.
