The same thing that's holding up the cat, the raccoon, the bucket, the leaves, and the pumpkin. The void.

Fair. I was assuming a flat plane when really the void could have any number of shelves (or even no support at all except to perfectly outline the items seen). I choose to view all of these things to be in freefall
