A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

Explanation: Lorica Squamata is the Latin term for scale armor. It's also very close to 'squat' in English. That's it.

Garum (seen in the bottle at their feet) is fermented fish sauce, which the Romans put on everything, from salads to bread to meat to wine(!).
