Israel acted as a tool for destabilisation in the area, which allowed America to financially bully the Arab world (and also paved the ground for their incursions in the area, ofc), but it was also (and equally importantly) a major if not the major consumer of all products made by the MIC. The money was funnelled from American taxpayers into the coffers of MIC capitalists through their support for Israel, and the people clapped. Now, with America fighting several internal wars and the narratives and support for war slightly shifting in the last 20 years in the US, with the rise of anational technocrats who have displaced the MIC as the main drivers of American politics and as the rest of the world rises in power and unites politically and financially in anti-Western leagues, Israel relevancy is being phased out. I mean, it's not like America hasn't tried to keep this going (their recent collaboration with Israel against Iran, which they expected to be 1-hit KO, and the propagation of "Christian Zionism", come to mind) but you can't just fight reality and expect to win, specially when your own house is crumbling and your power and influence is relatively diminishing.

What I said is basically the geopolitical equivalent of "night comes after day", lol.

What you said is the geopolitical equivalent of American Christian evangelicals insisting that the rapture is right around the corner, any day now, for the past 200 years.

?

Idk in which areas you're informed and intellectually competent and honest, but this is not one of them. 😐

Well damn... Like, maybe half the sentiment is correct, but that's a dog water analysis of the geopolitics involved.

It's a mix between neo liberal/conservative war hawks and anti-west ideology. It's incoherent, you can't just mix and match propaganda and expect to arrive at the truth
