You don't get to do a lot of exploring, although you can find hard drives people left behind in their ships and recover some lore from those. The game still manages to have an engaging storyline in my opinion. I distinctly remember wanting to strangle a certain character with his own necktie.
Overall, I like the juxtaposition between the storyline and the gameplay; the latter oscillating between relaxing and a bit puzzle-ish and bursts of adrenaline when you get suddenly reminded that you forgot to depressurize a section.
For sure, it does look like a very original experience. I am looking for something where you can exploring a system (or even multiple systems) and go scavenging missions, meet NPCs, do quests and so on.
A space RPG game with a big focus on space derelict scavenging.
