And if they somehow survive the ordeal they'll be reassigned to fill vacant positions in the remnants of what used to be an infantry squad, due to lack of tanks.

But at least your mechanization training comes to somewhat good use: You're among the few who get assigned to a motorized squad. And you're issued eScooters.
