You know, I'm actually surprised by how uniform the places I've found on Lemmy are. It's FOSS and North Korea fanclubs, and FOSS or North Korea fans who like whatever other thing. There really hasn't been dark corners the way Reddit had.
Didn't somebody try and set up a neonazi instance early on?
I haven't explored much so I don't know. What I've seen is a lot of photos of animals / historical subject / random stuff, a LOT of screenshot from Xtter or other SN, a LOT of link to articles about US politics and an inimaginable amount of star trek and some LGBT meme and things.
I never really stumbled in hard tankies or nazis communities, but maybe I'm just lucky.
Well, .world blocks instances like hexbear and maybe even .ml, but they're pretty huge. SDF still has zero blocked, blocked by last I checked.
That's probably it. I should have created my account on sdf.
I'm not sure what admission policies are these days, but you've already gotten over Funhole, so maybe you should move.
Edit: Although uptime isn't great, and contacting the admins about anything seems to require some kind of epic pilgrimage.
