Has one trans kid and rather than trying to understand her, turns into the fucking Joker.
The consequences of Gen X as parents will echo into the next millennia.
The worst thing is that he did legitimately try to understand her for a brief period. What turned him into the Temu Joker was basically her saying that he couldn't buy his way out of being a shitty parent and refusing to do what everyone else in his orbit does and gargle his balls in the hope of a handout. That absolutely broke him, and he's been on the war path ever since.
