Because my bike works fine. And is more fun.

I try to cycle everywhere in my town (fantastic bike paths and lanes), but downtown has more or less 0 bike infrastructure and cars actually yell at me to get off the road whenever I go there... Especially sad because it's one of the areas I hate driving the most.

But I am hopefully my city will add bike infrastructure there someday
