"Strava is claiming that “Strava has suffered damages, including lost revenue and business opportunities, erosion of competitive differentiation and network effects, harm to goodwill, and unjust gains to Garmin.”"

No, Strava, you did that to yourself with your personal enshittification. I already deleted my accounts and stopped using strava so I can't really protest this kind of bullshit in that way. Although to be fair garmin is going that way for me as well with their recent moves towards the same enshittification.

I am in the Garmin ecosystem too with my Fenix 5x. I love that watch and looked and looked and then bought a Fenix7x. While it has more feathers then the 5x I don't feel like it is much of an upgrade. Thankfully I got it used and paid less than half of what a new one cost. I let it sync it Strava but truthfully it makes no difference to me. Since they are in a feud I might just delete the Strava app. It really give no value to me.

Mine is a very similar story. All around, in terms of strava I used to just leave it syncing to my account and not think about or use it most of the time. Then as they removed even more features to be behind their paywall I made a point to delete the account in sort of protest.

I am only one person but similar to a lot of things I boycott in this way, hopefully people will follow in time and really affect them! Join us! XD
