What's your favourite final form of potato for devouring? Roasted? Fried? Mashed? Baked?

It's a toss up between roasted in duck or bacon fat, and mashed with garlic or spring onions. Really couldn't pick between these two formats. Chips don't speak to me in quite the same language.

Huge fan of mash with garlic, really don't eat that enough!

I love mashed on top of shepards pie,

I make mine with fine chopped parsley, lots of butter, pepper and milk, grated cheese and paprika on top, baked til crispy

Load mashed potato is really good too. Add bacon, spring onion, garlic and cheese. Mix it all up and lay it flat in a shallow dish and add more cheese on top and bake. Yum.

I used to make that for an ex's period complications. It was her comfort food.
