Baked, stuffed ala my Winnie the Pooh cookbook (this means bacon, cheddar, and some form of allium)

Oh yes that's an excellent choice! What other kind of recipes were in this book? I loved Winnie the Pooh growing up and dang near cried meeting Tigger at Disneyland.

Toad in the hole; raisin bread for eating with honey, Cottleston pie.

It's very British, and aimed for under 10s so pretty basic but fun
