Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I hate that we're now forced to do this kind of analysis on everything.
I found out that a band I had fallen in love with was slop. The music immediately turned into sound files and was deleted.
I’m so tired of being hypervigilant.
Who is forcing you?
For me, my own principles and appreciation for human art, thought, and effort.
Or you could just... not?
Sure, just let the AI happen with no criticism. No problem will come from that.
I mean... exactly?
Just let me stick it in. You don't have to scream.
What did this analysis here accomplish?
Prove there's a human doing the work.
Ok
I think it's important to be careful in what I consume - so I do always try to make sure it's actual human art, and not algorithmic sludge
But you already consumed it
When I say "consume", I suppose I mean "dwell on" and "appreciate". You're right, "consume" is a bit of a crass word actually and I should probably be more careful using it to describe how I interact with media! That's a very fair point. Thank you 🙏
