@PugJesus Iโ€™ve gotten on to the lead programmer of piefed, and he is now going to change the default behaviour when alt text if left off by users ๐Ÿ™‚

To be clear, actual descriptions are *greatly* appreciated by the fediverse generally - and not just for people with limited vision - but at least in future if piefed users choose not to describe images, it wonโ€™t deceptively make it look like they have ๐Ÿ‘
